The bible encourages us to continue meeting regularly with fellow believers. The purpose for meeting in this fashion is for the spiritual growth and encouragement of all believers. Spending time with God is the most important and effective thing a new convert can do to grow into a strong Christian. Spending time with God is not as complicated as one may think. It is as simple as: designating a special time of your day to spend in prayer and bible reading. This time could be 30 minutes before work, at lunch or before bed at night. Sometimes, life can be overwhelming. During these times, it can be very difficult to pray. We are here to help. Whatever the need may be, feel free to contact us or complete our prayer request form. We have people who love taking various needs to God in prayer.
As a new convert, it is important that we become familiar with the life
and teachings of Jesus. His teachings are at the foundation how we live
our daily lives. The life He lived, sets an example for us of how we should
live our lives as his followers.
We recommend reading the New testament
books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. These books contain stories of the
life of Jesus and His teachings. Reading these books while praying are
instrumental in us discovering Jesus.
Join us on Sundays for our Foundation Bible Class where we learn of the basics of the Christian Life. Take notes, ask questions or share your thoughts. We foster an environment where you will feel comfortable learning
about how to live this new life as a Christian.
